HONOLULU CHAPTER AAPC

The Hawaii Professional Coders Education Fund works hand-in-hand with Hawaii’s local AAPC chapters to facilitate quality continuing education opportunities for our chapter members. HPCEF partners with the Honolulu chapter to sponsor the annual coding conference and the popular semi-annual meeting, MAY MANIA.

WA’ALANI ENTERPRISES

In 1998 Richard Wa’alani, president and CEO of Wa’alani Enterprises started his company in the town of Lawai on the island of Kaua’i. It’s grown to be a successful trucking, hauling and construction company and Mr. Wa’alani is one of the most respected business owners on the island. Wa’alani Enterprises is involved with many community organizations, and generously provides donations to our scholarship fund, thus allowing coders to participate in events that might otherwise be unaffordable.

HEALTHCARE CODING CONSULTANTS OF HAWAII

HCCH has been a valuable partner for the past 15 years. HCCH employs certified coders who are credentialed through AAPC and HCCH ownership values certification and continuing coding education. HCCH has contributed many donations-in-kind such as offering use of the office conference rooms for educational sessions, proctoring local chapter certification examinations and hosting meetings for local chapter officers. HCCH employees generously volunteer their time to assist with HPCEF events.

JEL ENTERPRISES, INC.

Since our first annual coding conference in 2004, JEL Enterprises has been an important part of our conference operations. From providing warehouse space for storage to delivering supplies and materials, JEL Enterprises has donated both time and logistical support, enabling HPCEF to pass these operational savings along to our attendees.

MEDCODING SOULTIONS HAWAII

Ms. Haoje "Jessica" Hu recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of her company, MedCoding Solutions of Hawaii. Jessica holds numerous certifications through AAPC and finds many ways to give back to her coding roots, such as serving as a local chapter officer and donating complimentary conference giveaways for our members.
